KLE Foot pegs
As we all know, stock foot pegs don't provide good enough grip in wet or off-road. So i decided to put on a set of proper off-road foot pegs. After looking around Google and Ebay i haven't found any pegs that would be made for KLE, only SW-Motech ones for 100€ and that is to much to pay for foot pegs. I have found a site with cheep steel MX foot pegs( Klick), but none for KLE. So my question for you is, dose any other brand and model foot pegs fit kle? Like KLR650 pegs or KX500 or any other that you know of?
Thanks for your help!
Cheers, Ghosty!

Driver's KLR footpegs have the same mounting and will fit , but when mounted on KLE they sit too high when compared with standard KLE footpegs.
If you wish to fit them, you need to make a lowered footpeg mount.

Thanks for the info on this. I had bought some universal pegs in Louis for 10€ and will try to fit them. Will report on how it goes.

Fitted some Chineese foot pegs to my KLE650 that were origianly for a DRZ400, once the hole was drilled out they were a straight fit and cost less than £10 from evilbay. Not sure if the fitting is the same but there are lots of options there. I have lowering blocks fitted in the photo but they work on the normal mounts too.

New pegs
Hi there all,
I have a set of Pivot Pegz fitted to my KLE500. As the name implies, these pivot backward and forward to a degree. They are wider than the stock set and are very comfortable to use with road boots, plus the pivot allows you to flex your feet whilst on a trip, without removing your foot, also allows for good movement when you are standing, even if just to stretch whilst on the road.
They are priced as a new part ~ $ 220.00 AUD. They also pivot up a bit, for the times when the bike wants to have a quick lie down.
All in all I like them a lot. The newest has a wider profile and a plastic topper. Have a look at their website for more info.
Regards,
Shaun

@shaunh: I loked at pivot pegz and liked them a lot, but they are just to expensive for my taste
@adventure boy: Thanks for showing a cheap alternative the we now know that fits nicely without to much work
Here is what I have done in the summer(forgot to post when I did it), I bought a set of universal pegs for 15€ and modified them as they were to narrow (20mm).
Here is a pic of the pegs I bought:

And here is the finished product (60mm wide):
I still have to get or make some springs as now I am riding without them.
Cheers!

It looks to me that they sit quite a bit higher than originals. Maybe good for someone with shorter legs, but for average person with average inseam, they look cramped ?
I have found similar item on ebay, wider pegs, chinese knockoff for KLR 650 which fit without any modifications, but they also sit higher than originals. I need to make a new bracket and lower them, to strech my legs a bit.

Cheap £14 Chinese foot pegs. They have gone on no problem and there is a bit of space that I can try some rubber washers to reduce vibration. They are advertised to fit the KLR650 but fit the KLE500 no problem. I have not had to adjust the brake or gear selector.
