Does anyone know if the KTM mechanic west of Lisbon is still in business? This is not for me. A friend has one.

Hi Hunter,

we intend to travel through Sambia next summer (2015) with 3 KTM 690. Is there still the KTM-Tech in Lusaka ? Think we need new tires after 3000 km´s and some services.

Thanks for your answer in advance.

Possibly this thread has been superseded by KTM's own 'find a dealer' facility on their website?

Northwest BC 42km north of Terrace

I have a shop on my property, I am very familiar with the 950 and 990 engines and am willing to help if you are in need. I can help any fellow travelers but KTM is my thing and I likely have enough spare crap around to get you running again. there is a dealer in town for dirtbikes but he generally doesnt do the ktm road bikes.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
