How to get KTM 950 Battery (YTZ14S) in Uzbekistan?
Don't laugh too hard. My husband is in Urus-Kishlak Uzbekistan, about 50KM southwest of Samarkand. He's got a dead battery on his 2006 KTM 950 Adventure (YTZ14S). He's considering 'installing' a wrong size battery in the rear luggage and setting up some wiring to the front of the bike, since a locally sourced 'replacement' battery won't fit physically in the allotted space... Suggestions?
I know he's actually broken down, and not just trying to get everyone on the HUBB to laugh at me... you can see his blog here,

and on the right side, click through to "Where I am" to see his current location in the middle of some field on the side of the road.
Anyone you know of that I could call in UZ, Samarkand, Bukhara, etc, who might be able to chase down a battery? Ideas on more elegant "workarounds"?
Thanks!
The Wife.
