Launch Event - 6th October 2011 - Coventry Transport Museum
The Ted Simon Foundation will be officially launched to the public and press at a special fundraising event on 6th October 2011 at Coventry Transport Museum in the UK.
The launch coincides with the 38th anniversary of the beginning of Jupiter's Travels on 6th October 1973.
As well as meeting a host of veteran adventure travellers, guests will be able to enjoy a private tour of the museum, followed by a hot buffet; have their photograph taken with Ted Simon and his round-the-world 1973 Triumph Tiger T100-P; and take part in a special auction to help raise funds for the Foundation. The members of the Committee of Advisors will also be announced.
The launch event is kindly sponsored by Adventure-Spec, James Cargo Services, Kriega, Little Brown Book Group, Metal Mule, Rowan Public Affairs, and Traveldri-Plus.
E-Tickets for the launch event cost $60 (approx. £37) and can be purchased online via TicketLeap.com
We are offering Horizons Unlimited users a 10% discount off the standard ticket price. To take advantage of this offer, simply enter the code HORIZONS when prompted during the ticket purchasing process.
