I work for Wings Of Love Homepage based out of Maricopa, Az. I figured sense this forum area was here I'd post up.
This last march I was asked to go down to New Orleans and cook and help out. We stayed at a church that provided beds and showers wash & dryer etc. I prefer to sleep outside, lol. Well it was such a nice time that I decided to join the group permanently.

We provide aid workers and relief workers with food and transportation. We travel all over the world. In New Orleans we didn't only feed regular workers but anybody who came along, and we always had just enough left over for those who walked up. I had met them all last year right after the storm and they called me before they came in March, but I had to stay behind because of a dental problem that almost separated me from my bike.

Our director guy (Mike) has some kinda sea-fairing license so he can captain very large boats. So going over seas now and then is a very high probability, I cook and some other stuff, but it really doesn't matter if you have a specific talent or not as their is always a way to help here and there. Personally I think cooking and odd jobs are fun, almost like building a fort as a kid, sometimes we also have the chance to build stuff. Like a concrete wall around a orphanage in Haiti, etc.
