hi bodge.
sorry to disappoint you but there isn't any direct bus service between tel aviv to cario, if you go through Sinai, taba, and i am not familiar with a bus service to taba, you just cross the border into israel in the taba border terminal, and then take a bus or a taxi into eilat, about 8 km from the terminal, there is a regular bus service between eilat and tel aviv, dont remember the line number, just at the information desk at eilat central bus terminal, i think you could and book tickets in advance.
have fun in israel.
guy.

Recommendation for accommodation in Tel Aviv
Hi
I travel to Tel Aviv several times a year and I have found that renting an apartment for short term is much cheaper than renting a hotel room. It is also more convenient it lets you feel a part of the city opposed to feeling like a tourist. There are many companies for short-term rental in tel aviv.
I'm happy to recommend one company that provides professional service.
They have clean and beautiful apartments and they are very nice people who love to help, honest and will be happy to assist you with recommendations to good restaurants and nightlife.
The best accommodation in Tel Aviv
Company Name TLV2GO - Holiday apartments and short term rentals in Tel Aviv
You can check out their site

Good luck

Yes there is a bus, Cairo Taba
Cairo Taba no big deal, 4 hours. Don't ask me where it leaves in Cairo. Been in own car, but been with somebody who has taken the bus.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
