I live in Tbilisi, Georgia and will comment on the plan to ride from Georgia to Moscow.
The only route possible bike route to get to Moscow from Georgia is to go via Gudauri / Kazbegi and up through Vladikavkaz and this is over a high mountain pass. The road is plowed and OK for automobiles year round, but if past years are any indication, you should expect to encounter snow and cold in April.
It is usually well into May before I can ride up to Kazbegi. An alternate route would be to travel via Tbilisi to Batumi and through Turkey - again a mountain pass but there is the Roki tunnel and it is possible to ride that route earlier than your proposed route.
Having lived in Moscow for many years, do think April is rather early to be riding in that region and again, a southern route might be a better option.
