Flying out of Muscat, Oman - anyone any experience
How easy is it to get a flight out of Oman (to India, Malaysia, Australia etc) with a bike? Are there airlines that will handle that sort of cargo?

Paul, did you make it across the water yet? I am interested in anything you find out about shipping, as my visa for IRan is not 100% and shipping from Muscat or Dubai needs to be Plan B for me as well.
Cheers<
Rene

Hi Lars, Good to hear from you. I am in Ethiopa now, heading in a few weeks to Yemen. So we may be able to have that rematch in San'a.
I will drop you a line as I get closer!
Cheers,
Rene

Hi Rene
No research yet - it was Xmas and Eid here in Dubai!
But so far I have learnt the Jebel Ali port in South Dubai handles a lot of furniture removal to and from India so should be able to handle a bike (I might pretend it is a coffee table!)
aim to find out more in next week or so
