This has been a bit complicated and time consuming and I will not bore you with the whole story as it will vary for each traveller.

You will be able to track down the RoRo ferry Co called Valfajr 8 on the web and see scheduled services. BUT All of the Agent Info for the UAE published on their site is out of date and useless.

By trolling Iranian websites I eventually tracked down Valfajrs current agent who operates inside the restricted area of Sharjah Port so getting in to see him requires gate passes,time and patience. I will not give a company name to you as I have seen at least four different names on my documentation.

His name is Mr.Nazar phone ++97150 7868280. Once there he and his staff are very helpfull and efficient and will issue tickets on the spot.

You will require a Driving Licence,Carnet,Passport,Car Ownership Docs and possibly a current MOT Cert from UK to be allowed to book. Your case as an ongoing traveller will be different to mine so you will need to check specifics with them.

I was not asked for Green Card but I will have one anyway.

The cost for my LR Def is about US$450 and passengers about US$70 each. The trip takes about 10 hrs but check in and clearance takes approx 1 day!!!
