Arriving in Morocco
We are due to arrive in Morocco from Algeciras/Ceuta crossing in our 4WD in about ten days' time. Just wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere good for the first night. Not sure what time we will get the ferry, but I would like to stop somewhere around Tetouan or Chefchouan (or in between), I think.
I've been to Morocco quite a bit before, but a long time ago and never with my own vehicle, and I don't remember staying anywhere that had parking. I have also done some searches on the Hubb and Thorntree as well as checking the RG, but haven't found anything yet.
So can anyone recommend a good hotel/pension in this area with secure parking?
Thanks

We are going in February.
Trying Rif For Anyone,B&B, Guesthouse Accommodation Chefchaouen for our first night
Run by a Scot, on the outskirts of Chefchaouen, which is a reasonably short drive from Cueta. Looking at the photos it could well have parking.

Many thanks for this. I emailed the place and they do have parking outside the hotel. So we'll probably give it a go.

We had a real good experience at Hotel Toraghin (last August) which you will find just before entering Chefchaouen on the left hand side (tel. 0539707110).
People there are very relaxed and friendly, the view from the outdoor café is fantastic, we paid approx. Dh 150 for a clean room and further tipped the boy who watched over our Land Rover during the night in the private car park. Good food and drinks!
