Whats the route of entry through Melilla like? I've read and heard Ceuta to be the easiest, Tanger to be not so good? Wondered if you have any problems?

Thanks

How far in advance can I book

I'm currently arranging a trip to morocco in June next year (I know about how hot it will be) and I want to look into booking ferries.

When do ferreis from Algericas to Ceuta come on sale so I can book the ferry??

Is it notably cheaper to book in advance or might aswell turn up on the day??

Advice please??

I think booking 8 months in advance is going a bit far.
I would not bother booking at all, especially if you're on a bike, they run every half hour or so.

Turn up early or late in the day and you'll get straight on, I'm sure.

You may find the new Tangiers Med port less hassle.

Recent thread here with map.

PS, dont know if you know this is a 4 year old thread you replied to. Since then there have been 47,646 posts on Morocco ferries.

For ferry tickets Algeciras-Ceuta-Algeciras:

Currently de lowest price I've found, cheaper than the agency to which I've been buying the ferry tickets for the last years, Club Camaleon 4x4, Marruecos el Imperio de las sensaciones (220 € for a little truck/lorry and 2 p with back open, with Balearia), is given right now for this one http://www.viajesnormandie.net/situa...algeciras.htm; the other day I phoned them and they told me that currently the price for a little truck/lorry and 2 p with back open, with any ferry company is 180 €.

They say this will be the same price for the week hollyday in april (15-24) but will rise up to 250-300 € in summer, but stil a good price.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
