Last october, on my first trip to Morocco, I did the long way down from the north of Belgium to Almeria. Did 2.500 km at leisurely pace and in three days in the 90.
When I will go back next april, as far as I can see at the mo, I presume it is about the same costwise to go on a ferry for 30+ hours than to driving all the way down.
And you can relax instead of driving.... and you win a day, because you dock at night/morning instead of 17.00 hr MT via Almeria. After one day I am already in the desert then, so an additional reason to choose for Sète.
Going back is also an advantage, so when the price is right I might to it this way!
So that's why I would like to get as accurate info as possible regarding costs.
