Insurance in Nador
Hi all,
Will be boarding the ferry in Sete on 9th bound for Nador with my laden F800. I do not have insurance for my bike out of Europe.
Could someone reassure me that purchasing insurance on arrival in Nador is gonna be possible. If not in Nador where can I buy cover?
Cheers

I am not sure how useful that PJ list will be as I found most assurance offices (there are many) don't offer the special frontier insurance.
Last year I called the phone number in the usually empty booth in the port. No answer but you may get lucky.
Try the Axa by the roundabout just out of the port. I did not bother in town as it was late but would be good to know for sure if one on the Nador list can do it.
Inland in the east no one could do it. One place in Er Rachidia suggested Meknes.

PS. Watch your gear on the boat. Carry upstairs what can't be locked.

Insurance in Meknes
To the OP, after the office at Ceuta frontier closed a few years ago, we picked up vehicle insurance in Meknes. From the Wafa Assurance office in the nouvelle ville, IIRC.

With quads, I presume as long as they have papers and a plate like any other vehicle, they can get insured.
Assuming you're arriving via a Straits port, get it done there.
I met some quaders out there once. Looks like a fun way of doing it.

Only as Ceuta has been mentioned…….
We have used the “new insurance office” immediately right on exiting the border. Also there is an insurance office behind the mosque [at “Y” junction] at Fnideg that does border insurance.
I have also got our quad insurance [Brute Force 750i] covered with no problems.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
