Marroco with bikes on trailer - Need a help!
Hi2All
In April I'm planning to enter car+trailer with few bikes on it
I will have permission to transport (Power of Attorney) sworn translated to French, Carnet ATA
Any more papers?
Motorcycles will be back to EU within 2 weeks
Plan is to take a ferry from Spain to Tanger Med, than drive south to Marrakesh.
Riders will have fun for 10days, then way back home

Hi there,
It was definetely possible with the D16Ter before it was discontinued on the 1st of january (a quick search in the paperwork forum and you'ill find a thread about that).
I think with carnet ATA with all the bikes, you should be fine, but that may be a good idea to be sure before showing up at the border...

THX
yes, I read those posts - That's I decided to write
I just spoke with polish authorities (ATA Carnet) and they said that I can only receive ATA for EXPO purpose not for temporary vehicles import for tourism
Or I need to participate in Moroccan Rally .
Thing is 1 of Jun 2019 was few days ago - and I guess there is a mess that to do.
I will send email to Moroccan authorities but when they will replay - how knows?!?!

Hi
I entered Morocco sept. 2016 on a motorbike registrated with a companys name on the papers. I just had a permission signed by a notary allowing me to drive the bike, and with this document I entered multiple times without any problems.

Thx for your replay
Thing is I will have more then 5 bikes with me
One on my name, rest on private rider and banks (leasing)
Of course I need to have Permission from them to transport bikes
Problem is that ATA Carnet apparently is only for exhibitions (international trade fair)
It means that polish custom office can issue ATA only for expo or Rally (but you need to be on the list as participant

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
