The Algeciras to Tan-Med route has the great advantage that the Tanger Med port is very heavily policed, and touts are not allowed into the areas where customs & insurance booths are. This means that you will have a peaceful, unmolested time once you get off the ferry and need to get your insurance purchased. It also means that security for your moto and possessions is very good whilst you are at the insurance booth doing your business, and later at the ATM getting some Dirhams.
I don't know anything about the other routes - all I have ever used is Algeciras to Tan-Med, simply because I can't imagine things being better anywhere else, but I can easily imagine things being a lot worse elsewhere.
There is a very fine highway (a toll road) from the Tanger Med port to Tanger. The tolls are not onerous.
