What are some “must go” places (Maroc+ws)
Title pretty much explains it. 60 odd days before departure. I’ve ordered a map and will be planning a detailed route. I’m presuming my route will change but I’d like to get a rough outline for organisation. Looking forward to these suggestions!

If you heading straight down the coast, then take the motorway and get south quick. Essaouira is nice for a couple of nights to have a rest. Then Sidi Ifni.
After that your into areas where the towns aren’t really a highlight. Khnifiss Lagoon. Tarfaya has the Aeropostale museum if you can find the guy to open it, Casa Del Mar just off the coast along with the wreck of the Canary Island Ferry. The Sebkha’s between there and Boujdour are interesting if you haven’t seen one before. Dakhla is another nice stop for a couple of night before dealing with the border to Mauritania. Excellent food at Villa Dakhla. Hotel Barbas at Bir Gandouz is like the cantina from Star Wars and good for an overnight stop or just a coffee or food.

It's all about priorities.if you want to ride the scenery then leave the motorway at El Jadida and take the coast roads down to Agadir, taking time in Essaouira as Warden says.I would then turn East and traverse the country to Errachidiya or similar. Its all great scenery and opens up most of the North South options. The country South of Tan Tan may be described by some as quite bleak and more suited to leisurely off road exploring.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
