Looks like a great program of films! How many folks showed up, all in, in
Australia?
I'm wondering if Austin & Lois have plans to take this show on the road again? IIRC, they did screen some films at the Overland Expo event in Arizona, but haven't heard much for 2014.
Any plans afoot to bring this program of films on the road around the USA?
I imagine there may be some new films too, but hopefully they'll hang onto some of the previous ones too!
California could be a be good place to do the festival. With enough promo, should bring in a good crowd and make it worthwhile.
Perhaps do one in So Cal and another in Nor Cal? Local HU communities could probably help finding venues and doing promotion.
Question? Is there a CD available of the 2013 film program? Link?

I'm not sure what the plans are for 2015 but ther should be a USA festival as there were two in 2012 and one in 2014. Google Adventure travel film festival and it should find the main web site. From there navigate to the USA site, I think you click on a Stars and Stripes flag. Cds / dvds of the program, not yet, but I think Mondo Sahara can be bought from Austin's own web site. Its worth watching a few times over, as you pick up a few things over time.

Cheers,
Visited Austin's web site for festivals. No mention of taking the show on the road beyond UK and Aus.
Also checked out the Overland Expo site (where Lois and Austin had presented previously). No mention of them, but they do a list a few films by producers I'd never heard of.
Appears some things have changed ....

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
