TomTom Rider 1 Mount Required
I've had my TomTom Rider for 9 years and have used it on several bikes over those years. The original clamp mount showed its limitations quite early on with the unit popping out of the cradle a couple of times at 40+ mph so I changed to a car style mount clamped to my handle bars.
I recently started experimenting with using my iPhone for navigation and, although it works adequately using the Skobbler application, I still love using my old TomTom. For the iPhone, I fitted a Ram Mount so that the phone is above the clocks on my Tiger XC. The mount that connects the Ram Mount to the Ultimate Addons case has the same fitting that my TomTom mount uses, however, when I put the TomTom in the cradle, it fouls on the Ram Mount and doesn't seat completely.
My solution, as far as I can see, is to use the original TomTom cradle fixed to the Ram Mount. This is where I have a problem as I threw the cradle out years ago so I'm on the hunt for another one. I think the original TomTom Rider 1 and 2 had similar mounts, but I'm not 100% sure.
If you have one and you are located in Europe, please let me know!
