Hello Bernardo,
3 time answer is NO...
Some time it is possible to go from Ghat to Algeria but in the moment it is closed.
In the reverse sense it is allways closed for not arabic people!
You will nowhere find an other possibility to cross this border.!!

Hello,
between Algeria to Tunis the border is open in both directions.
The usual border post used by overlanders is "Taleb Larbi".

Hello Bernardo,
Yves has right.
The best way is to go from El Oued to Nefta and then to Ras Ajdir where you can get the Libyan Visa at the border if you have an invitation and if an agent from the libyan agency is there.

Hello Bernardo,
no, you need the visa before arriving in Algeria as Georges allready wrote.
An invitation is one of the possible prerequisits to obtain the visa, but you don't need it to travel in Algeria - but in the South a guide is compulsory.
