Best place for a guide to getting into Morocco

Small convoy of 5 vehicles are heading into Morocco via Cueta in early May and i'm just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for a set of instructions of how to get paperwork done quickly and efficiently when we cross the border (ie a how to guide- get this bit of paper, take it to that office etc etc etc)

Thanks guys

Jim

Some instructions here:
Sahara Overland ~ Morocco and Western Sahara
and here:
Morocco Overland ~ Documents

It's much easier than you think; just be patient and don't get distracted or possibly intimidated by touts:
fill out immigration card
get a passport stamp
get TVIP (for the car) if not done online in advance
show insurance or get it later

Morocco GS Knowledgebase - ::. UKGSer.com .:: Tim Cullis is a moderator on this great website. Loads of great information, you can download GPS waypoints for interesting places to stay (hopefully dodging the Lonely Planet crowds).

Not sure what you have against the 'Lonely Planet crowds' ...

Theres a lot to explore in Morocco - off the beaten track, Lonely Planet or not ... as far as getting a 'guide' is concerned, I'd do it yourself, or you'll pay for it!

I'll second hooks suggestion of Tim Cullis' website.
After reading the page, I was able to saunter up to the border at Cueta on new years eve, ignore all the 'helpers', get the correct forms filled out in the correct manner and be through and out the other side in 20 mins.

thank you Mr Cullis.

Hi,
In my experience, everyone is talking sense. The 'helpers' have made an art out of making it look difficult.
Have a good look at the links already posted and you'll be through by yourself, far quicker than you would with 'help'

Have a good trip
Sam

Thanks guys, much appreciated

everything gets harder when you have five vehicles and 10 people to push through!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
