bmw mechanic
Does anyone know if there is an official bmw bike garage in Maroc? especially around Tangier, Rabat or Casa? If not, someone that knows there way around modern BMs ie 800GS?? many thanks.

Mmmmmm again I heard a rumor of a BMW mechanic as well when my fellas 1200GS broke down ....... never found tham though.
In Ouazazate there is a french guy called Gill who in his fitter days was support driver for bikes in the Dakar, he rides a BMW 1150 and knows the BMWs inside out. Unfortunatley I do not have his number anymore but he is close friends with the manager of the Atlas Studios Hotel in Ouazazate.

for the replys guys and girls... have found a guy in Tangier to work on it tomorrow, if no good will head down to Casa to the dealer detailed, many thanks.
If anyone has any thoughts on sparks from exhaust, burning smell oil/petrol and it seems to be getting hot quick, would be appreciated.

Sounds like a problem in the injection-system. To be sure check the valves clearance, too.CheersRick

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love.
