No camping places at these places you mention for Libya. Whilst there is not a good chance to camp at Tripoli (the area occuied by the houses of the city and its suburbs is quite big), I cannot see a good reason, why you want to camp at el Agheila - just camp before or after el Agheila. Leave the coastal road, where it is possible and look for a suitable place between the road and the beach. Tobruk. Hmmm; within the city-perimeter you find several asphalted roads leading down to small bays. These are not official camping grounds and you won't be alone especially in the summer time but ok; I presume you only want to stay there for one night on the way to Egypt...

.:WELCOME TO REZREIKY CAMP WEB SITE:...HOME... in Luxor.
There's no actual campsites in Marsa Matruh or Siwa. It does depend how long you want to stay for. If just for a night in Marsa then you're best camping in the desert out of town. In Siwa you can do the same or at Bir Wahid (translated as Well One) at the spring or best get a hostel in town.

Yes actually I'll cross Lybia as fast as possible to get in Egypt quickly as I'm short on time... I'll see what I can find on my way!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
