The coastal area around Nador is supposed to be very pretty with gorges of Zegzel. The green strips alongside roads on Michelin 742 map is normally a good indication of beauty. One of the six coastal developments of the government's 'Plan Azur' is at Saidia.
To head south, I would go via Guercif and Taza. There are some deep grottes near Taza, and the road Merhaouia to Immouzzer-des-Marmoucha is a great ride. When you get to Boulemane, I would go to Midelt via Timahdite and Col du Zad, rather than the really boring road via Taouerda.
