I don't think anyone has yet posted the the specific agent/ contact info for
this RO-RO service in Port Said. You might try a PM to Omar Mansour, above,

Hannes, this is the first proof that a ferry is actually running! My calls to the shipping company have been dead ends, but still trying. This is enough evidence for me to just drive up to Port Said and work it out there.
I will post what I find out.

To Jordan?
If you want to avoid the hassle in Egypt and Jordan is your destination, why not take the ferry from Monfalcone (Italy) to Ashdod or Haifa (Israel) and cross the border Israel – Jordan at Allenby / King Hussein Bridge ?

Hi Guys,
We have taken the ferry from Mersin to Port Said.
Finally got the vehicle through customs today.
We have posted all the details on a different thread:
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...pt-new-63995-2
In total we paid $1380 to get from Mersin to Port Said (this includes all customes duties, taxes and what ever else they can think of at the port)
Looking back, I would go through Libya!!
You'll have an armed guard escort you through the country and I have been told by some friends that have just gone through, that it was brilliant.
Any questions, feel free to drop me a message!

But Menalines are not the ones operating the RoRo ferry between Mersin and Port Said, right?

Hi,
What are the others ones?
I'm not sure you can find now a ferry between Turkey and Egypt which carries cars with their passengers and with the possibility to disembark on an Egyptian port.
But I hope I'm wrong....
