Very much enjoyed the photos and makes me feel what i'm doing in the home now...

Arose me technical question too - you have very large 23" prints available - did you use large or medium format photography then? Or just 35mm equipment with technical (ISO25-64) film to get large detailed prints?

Thanks Margus.

I shoot with 35mm under 100asa. That range of Black and white film is forgiving when you blow it up to a max of 16X20 on traditional silver gelatin printing. The very large prints are Gicleé digital prints on fiber paper. I can get them at fine rsolution to that size by drum-scanning the negs.

Very impressive work indeed. The picture called "Thaffassasset, the great empty" reminds me of a great stretch of the hamada in Libya I once crossed on the way to Derj. You can see it on a google sat map here:

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB.
