Spain to Cuerta

Hi
Anyone taken the Sat eve Portsmouth to Bilbao ferry lately? Is it still running etc? We will be leaving the UK on the 24th of April and will be travelling through to Cuerta to start our safari. Any tips/warnings on anything between the UK and the far side of the Moroccan border post?
Rgds

Just got off the phone from P&O and they quote £351 one way for two adults and a 2-2.5m 4x4.
Anything cheaper out there?

Your quote sounds pretty reasonable to me and it certainly gets you south with minimal hassle.

If you have time on your hands then you could take the Euro Tunnel which will be cheaper and the drive through France is beautiful if you stay off the auto routes.

That quote only holds until 1st March and then it jumps by about £50.

£351 sounds right, I'm off to Morocco in Oct for 6 weeks with a range rover and best I can get for a return is £624. Plymouth/Santander is cheaper but only if you have just a reclining chair! Driving thru France wont cut too many costs and knacker the driver i reckon, so P+O win all round really. Worth saying that prices are higher obviously for summer, but Sept is fiesta season in Spain. Prices drop in Oct.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
