Travel Buddy - Morocco, Mauritania, Mali (for now-ish)
Hey,
Please see link below, but my 'mate' seems to have left me stranded in Morocco so I'm looking to ride with others to head south...
If you are around and don't mind me tagging along, that would be cool. Near Agadir at the moment but will be heading south through Western Sahara over the next week. Will prob stop just before the Mauri border for a day or two to chill and put the tyres I am carrying on the bike. Then south (Mauri, Mali, Niger...etc is the rough plan).
My email is on the contact part of my website, or PM me on here.
Cheers,
Chris

Dude, nightmare.
We (Ed and Dan, the guys on the white Africa Twins you met at HU Ripley) are now in Nouadhibou and will be heading on soon, but will be passing back through Nouakchott on probably tuesday / Wednesday next week 23/24th October on our way to Diarma and thence to Senegal.
You could easily do Western Sahara in just a few days but I know you're keen to piste it as much as you can so I don't know how that ties up with your plans.
Get in touch if you're getting lonely, I'll PM you my mobile number so you can txt me (though response may be slow as I'm not sure what service is like here in Mauri).
Take it easy dude,
d.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
