Hi All!
Sorry for not having said nothing in a while, but I have been extremely busy and sick, with even no time to read the HUBB!
Thanks Silver G for your advice, much appreciated.
I'm leaving tomorrow! Keep your fingers crossed for me, I'm not very happy to cross the Alps with this 'wonderful' weather...
Drachenstein, I think I haven't received any e-mail from you. Let's try again once i'm back!
My best wishes to you all!

Yes, I made it!
Arrived to Genova Monday evening.
No snow falling from the sky during the whole day, but an awful cold in the northern side of the Alps (had to stop in the Gotthard tunnel for a while to recover...). Thick fog around Milan. More cold in the Apennines (but not as much as in the Alps). Roads were 'clean' but not dry. Some ice I would say.
Taking the ferry this afternoon!

Hi Marta,
glad things are going well. Just wanted to add that if you are on one of the Tunisian registered boats you can do most of the paperwork on board - pick up the forms from the information desk onboard then take them to be processed after diner this evening.
If it's a french registered boat then you have to do everything at the port.
Here's to a smooth crossing

Hhhmm.. How to try again if your Spam Filter (?) still eats my mails and I'm not allowed to answer your PM due to lack of postings
Actually my mails were because I was thinking about coming with you, but since you're definitely gone now I'll try to make it to Morocco. Also the number of postings will increase with that maybe

Pics from January
Hi All!
I know it's been a while since my last post in this thread, but I have been busy working and travelling...
The Tunisia trip went very well and I wanted to thank you for your support and advice, it's been much appreciated.
Haven't had time to ride a RR yet, but I've thought that at least I could post some pics taken during the trip.
Here the link, hope you like them!

Hi Marta
Great pics - looking at them brought back a lot of memories and pangs of nostalgia. I've a lot of time for Tunisia.
Regards
Mark

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
