Bike Storage in San Diego OR LA

Hi there,

we are searching a storage for our 2 motorbikes beginning of november 2019.
We are from Germany and travelling the Panamericana from Chile to Alaska.
As we won´t make it this year up to Alaska, we would like to store our bikes in San Diego or Los Angeles and spent the winter in Australia.
As mentioned before, we have 2 bikes and also some motorbike and camping gear to storage.

Thank you very much for your support and help.

Best regards from Mexico,

Nici and Kai

You are welcome to keep them at my home in Yuma, Arizona, which is about 150 miles east of San Diego if you don't hear from anyone else. I am on the border, but Yuma is a small city with a small airport, and the only flights from here go to Phoenix. Amtrak trains run through Yuma and end up in Los Angeles at Union Station 3 times a week, or if you don't mind slumming it, the Greyhound bus goes from Yuma to both San Diego and Los Angeles. Again, I am sure someone will offer storage in either city, but if not, let me know, and you are welcome to keep your bikes here.

Good morning,

thank you very much for your offer.
So, you would have enough space for our 2 big bikes, the bike clothes and our camping gear?
Is the storage dry?

Thanks again,

Best, Nici and Kai

When the weather cools off, I will be cleaning out a store room attached to the back of my home. I have an older home that does not have a garage, unfortunately, only a covered carport.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
