Bike storage in Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia
We have bike storage available in Kyrgyzstan. It is actually the only place in central asia where you can store bikes.
Ask for details. Patrik

storing a bike in Kisgisien
Dear Patrik,
thanks for your infos! Read you homepage....very interesting! Actually I don´t want to store the bike (a DR 650). I want to leave it there....sell it...give it away or just dump it! It is very old by that time so it makes no sense for me to bring it back. Maybe you have an idea! Is that possible?

Hi Roland. Got you. Well, definitely pass at our place in Osh. There are some locals who may be interested if the price is very low. Taxes to import are 1.5 US$ per ccm. This makes 1000.- US$. Lots of money when you earn 200-400.- US$ a month.
If the locals are not interested, we will pay a , a bed and a ride to the airport. Dumping here is no problem. No hassle with papers or else. And Osh has a International Airport.
CHeers from rainy Osh.

bike storage kirgistan
Hi Patrik,
i got a technical problem with my R1100GS - probably bearing damage in gearbox, but i have to check.
As far as i understood from other posts i can leave Kirgistan without my bike and you offer a storage place.
what are the firmal issues / paperwork that is to be done? And how long can the bike be stored in Kirgistan.
we are two persons on two bikes and the idea is to enter China on one bike only since our Visa will expire in a few days.
The repair and or transport to another country would then be done probably in October by me coming back to Kirgistan.
Thanks for yiur help
Kind regards
Axel

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
