Crossing China - July 2019 - Kyrgyztan to Pakistan

Hello dear HU community ,

so this is my very first post in this forum ...

We're a team of two biker, both around 30 years old from Austria and Germany.

We're palnning to cross China from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan betwin Monday (08.July 2019) and Friday (12. July 2019). Therefore we do search for travel companions to share costs.

I am able and willing to do the prep work and request offers by the different travel agencies.

So if you are interested, let us know!

Best regards,
Florian

Hi Florian, I have a thread under the travellers seeking travellers forum ; London to Beijing 2019, I am well along the planning process, so far there are 3 bikers from the UK, and we will probably meet up close to Osh to cross at the Torugart pass. I am in touch with various agencies to handle the paperwork. My plan is cross early /mid June, is that too early for you?

Hi Florian, I'm looking for opportunity to join a China-group for 2019 too. Have also already contact with Londonbiker. Your timming is good for me, but I prefer to visit Tibet than Pakistan. We will see... What is your plan-route after China?

Florian, as mentioned in my earlier post, I now have quotes from Kyrgyzstan to Nepal, its now looking like a mid July 2019 crossing, so far there are 3 of us from the UK, + another 2 customers of the tour company direct. PM me with your email, and I'll forward the quote.

Hej Florian!
How about your travel plans concerning the current political situation in Pakistan and India?
We are planning to cross Kyrgyztan-China-Pakistan-India as you do, but later around October... Not quite sure if we need to plan an alternative route.

All the best,
Johanna

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
