from Europe to Siberia by truck
Hello,
I read somewhere on this forum that there could be the chance to send the bikes from Europe to Siberia by truck (i.e. Irkutsk), does anyone know a reliable company ? What about customs, etc. ?
We already took the transiberian train 4 years ago on the way back from Mongolia (Irkutsk-Moscow) but the bikes coudn't get on the train, that's why this time we are considering the truck
thanks for any info
ciao

Motos cannot 'officially' be put on passenger trains - but "anything is possible in Russia"
Usually motos, ski scooters, etc can be transported on freight trains, which take longer and no passengers - but "ditto".
I have no idea about cross border.

I shipped from Moscow to Irkutsk via truck last summer, but I don't know about from Europe.

This is their website: /www.pecom.ru
It cost about $600 and takes 9-11 days.
