S.Korea - Visa - Onward ticket needed?
I'm planning to ship from the Vladivostok/Zubrino area to Korea, before shipping on to USA.
The info I've seen for Visas for Korea, state that evidence of onward travel is needed for the Korean visa. Has anyone had any experience with this, maybe having to book shipping/flight from Korea to USA while still in Russia?
Many thanks

South Korea does not require a visa for citizens of most western countries. You will need to confirm this for your own nationality, but they usually give tourists a 30 day visitor visa on arrival at any port. I arrived without any form of onward ticket and was not questioned about needing one.

Thanks Garry. Any other experiences??
Cheers Garry, that's encouraging.
But it does say on the FCO that British citizens need proof of onward travel, which is going to be a pain, if it is the case.
Does anyone else have any experience of this?

Travelling on a British passport, you don't need a visa. They stamp your passport on arrival. We entered Seoul with an onward ticket to Europe, but cancelled our onward leg after we arrived (fully refundable).
I really doubt though that there will be any problem when entering Sok Cho from Russia (assuming you are coming with the bike on the ferry). It will be a lot easier leaving from Zarubino and the ride from Vlad to there isn't that bad...
