We used Yuri to clear our bikes into Vladivostok in June. He is the best. No problems at all and it was all over in 3 days. A bloody good bloke as well.

+1 on Yuri. knows his stuff, and a really nice guy.
Im guessing you want to ship via sea? as I dont think there is an air option right now, to go air, you'll have to ferry to korea
but things may have changed since last year?

great customs clearing agent in Vladivostok
Hi there,
anyone planning to arrive at or leave vladivostok might find Yuri helpful. He charged US$100 for the customs clearance out of Vlad which i think is standard, but was great to deal with and speaks english well.
If you go to the ferry company they will use their own agent, (same cost) but they might not be as good to deal with.
I bumped into a guy from the Ukraine today who was trying to do it himself and though he could speak russian, he said he was having a really hard time with it.
Yuri came to our hotel to meet us several times, cleared up a mess with an incorrect vin number, arranged transport to customs and back etc etc. he seems pretty well connected here. money well spent in my opinion.
if you call him, tell him i said hi

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
