Some place to send tyres in Novosibirsk

Hi, I would like to know if there are any place in Novosibirsk or 800 km around, like a garage or similar in order to send my tyres in advance from Spain?

Any help from you, will be very appreciated

Kyrgyzstan

I live in Sukuluk Kyrgyzstan. If you would like you could send them here. How many sets are you looking to send? Two of us just ordered three sets and the customs tried to charge us for them. Talked a while we we got out without paying. What kind of tires are you needing? Might be able to buy them here, if not in Kyrgyzstan I understand there is a good shop in Almaty that sells tires.

Suggestion: How about asking Dean at MOTOREZINA.RU - свежая моторезина по разумным ценам. motokolesa, мотоколеса, моторезина, резина для мотоциклов to send you the tyres from Moscow to somewhere along the Trans-Sib, including Novosibirsk. His reputation and prices are good, especially if you consider you won't have to pay freight from Spain, nor import tax into Russia.

I have to tell to my sponsor, maybe it is much better for him although he is tyre dealer here in Spain.

Thanks for the info I have to send just one set, the tyres I want to use are Dunlop D908RR, that it will do the work very good from that area until Ulaan Baatar.

BTW Do you know the name of the shop in Almaty? I would like to research.

Motoboard and Stoppy Stars are the two main bike tyre and accessory shops in Almaty.

As Chris mentioned, bear in mind that there will be import duty on the tyres if you do not bring them into Russia or Kazakhstan with you and your bike. Whoever receives they tyres will need to pay that up front for you. You will need to reassure whoever that is, that you will pay them back if you dont turn up - have an accident etc, before that point in your journey.

Motoboard and My Town Moto (the main bike service centre in Almaty) are in the waypoints file.

The alternative is to send them to near where you cross the border into Russia .. carry them across on your bike .. then send them onwards inside Russia to where you need them - thus avoiding the taxes, but increasing the freight charges and hassle for you.

Thanks for your help, I am still working in it. The shop in Moscow doesn't have the Dunlop D980RR and the only good option it could be TKC80 and I don't like so much I prefer some thing more offroad for my XR.

Still looking for the solution...
