I guess your best bet is to get one UPS'd from the uk. But then you've got to wait for it to arrive. What do the locals use to cook on, charcoal? Maybe that's the way to go. Go native!

I would take the pipe and stove to a truck garage, it cant be that much different to repairing an injector pipe. Remember outside europe and NA people repair/make and mend things, not order modules froma catalogue...

Ok, I have my spare generator in my hands. I imagine you've flattened the pipe by running over it. It looks as if it's not a straightforward repair. There appears to be a wire which runs along the inside of the pipe, maybe to help with the heating of the petrol before it reaches the injector. If you decide to cut through the pipe be careful not to cut the wire. It may then be possible to silver solder some small diameter brake pipe onto the existing ends to replace the damaged part. If I'm honest though it looks like it'll be a difficult job to get right and you either need the correct replacement part or find another cooker.
Good luck.

I would be surprised if any mechanic worth the name in kazakhstan could not just fix it. I had a chain fixed yesterday in northern KZ where the mechanic 'made' a new link pin.
After stuff like that, a stove pipe should be a cake walk for these guys. You would be amazed at what they can hand make. As long as you domt need it to look pretty, most mechanics will be able to fix it for you.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
