Get a hold of Niko. He used to work for KTM in the UK and in Georgia. He is a nice guy and will help you out. Very good mechanic. nickamoto@gmail.com
Niko speaks good English, fluent Russian and Georgian.

Don't go to KTM Team Georgia. Slava the owner will only try and get your money and the mechanic isn't fit to work on a Chinese scooter.

Nico, Tbilisi motorcycle mechanic contact info

I just spent some days hanging out with Nico. He helped me with a few minor issues on my bike then we spent some time riding together in Western Georgia. Very good guy. He asked if I would post on the Hubb that it is best to contact him directly by phone, not by email since he no longer has internet at his home. His phone number is 574304010. Below are coordinates to a small garage where he works from. You turn down a little alley and there is a row of small garages, his is the 4th one I think. Tell him Jordan says hello.

GPS:
N 41 43.224 E 44 43.829

Google Maps:

41.720393,44.730481

Question Any updates?

Hey folks,

The last replies seem 4 years old. Is anybody aware of new information?
Can't get a hold of Nika, Dr. Jack or find anybody with an odb2 diagnostic tool.

Thanks a lot!

Sebastian

Same here, he does not react on whatsapp or calls on that number. Does anyone know another way to contact him, or somebody else who knows his way around bikes in Tblisi?

another way - location of his garage:
Wikimapia - Let's describe the whole world!
long "building" next to the small way in the center is row of small garages and Niko's garage is somewhere near the center. Haven't seen him since last year and not aware about his schedule.

Here couple other workshops which came in mind at first:
https://web.facebook.com/Bikeland.ge/
https://ka-ge.facebook.com/PitstopGeorgia/

and the last note - I've never used any service from any of these or other workshops.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
