Train Transport from Irkutz to Moscow

A Korean rider couple and a friend,, Jejo has shipped their bikes from Irkutz to Moscow, recently.
All three bikes ,, was supposed to take 7 days but it took 10 due to train break down.
30 Rubles for document handling fee.
100 Rubles per bike for unpacking of the boxes.
160 Rubles per each 10KG weight.
So I assume not only vis a vis Moscow to Irkutz but to all and any place Russia Rail goes ,, including Ulan Batuur and Beijing.

Can not post pictures ,, exceeds my quota ,,,

How much in total

She didn't say how much for total three bikes,, 160 Rubles per 10KG ,, so figure.
Here is her blog,,pictures are self explanatory ,,
Pic 1 ,, turn left as you come out of the Irkutz station,, see this sign then pass all the way ,, then make a leftie

Pic 2 BA GA JU NO YE - OT TE JEL RYE NYE is the pronouncement,, very important,, where the cargo is handled.

Pic 3 & 4 ,, The form you must fill in ,,

Pic 5 & 6 ,, You must remove all the windows,, and luggage and put it in the bag they give you and put it next to the bike,, workers bring a jerry can and sucks out all the gas out of the tank.

Last 4 pictures are of the Moscow terminal ,, Follow the tracks to Yaroslavski station,, Copy of the release paper.
Window 5 ,, to file the release.
The train leaves for Moscow,, every Wednesday and arrives on Wednesday ,, but she says don't count on it.
Oh and they regretted taking the train to Moscow ,, 4 days of bore they said ,, and more waiting in Moscow,,

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
