Moby lives! 614 conversion
Hi all
The great white whale is started, ripped out miles of wiring, filled in the holes where the antennae were. Sourced some batteries, only 2 x 95 ah, but can't find anything larger to fit under the passenger seat.
Got new tires and new wiring next week.

Overland
Hi Gren
First trip is to ship to Walvis Bay next winter for 6 months round southern Africa, then various winter trips to anywhere other than here!
Probably back to Senegal, then would like to get to India again, but have to get the van finished first!

putting the shower where you do prevents using the front seats for lounging if they were put on swivel bases. Pullman dinettes tend to be a bit uncomfortable after a time . Have you looked at pics of motorhomes , as they are a good source of clever ideas of how to best utilize space . The big UK motorhome show is on in Peterborough end of April .

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
