2005 Suzuki Jimny VVT1.3
57,000 miles from New, 40,000 of this in Africa, this brilliantly capable and very quiet 4x4 with low ratio is currently in East Africa with Carnet if required. UK registered.
Comes with Roof Rack, Jerrycans, two spare wheels and other spares inc battery, shocks, bearings, winch etc. Very economical, reliable-only one shock replaced in all travels, and in good mechanical order. Regular oil changes, brilliant little engine which never ceases to amaze me. And it's possible to sleep inside, believe it or not. Can e mail suzuki (namibia) promotion material on the car.
Can deliver anywhere in East Africa $6000 with all equipment,

Sorry, but I have to ask. How do you sleep inside a Jimny?

+1 . And please, post pictures, it will help you to sell it.
Although I'm not a buyer but -selfishly- I'd love to see it. I really enjoy small cars and that Jimny sounds like a BEAST!
Wish you great luck,
Esteban

It's possible and comfortable, with the rear seats removed, the fronts fold completely flat, pad the back a bit, slide in a couple of self inflating mats and there is 2 mtrs of space for sleeping, boxes are on the roof.

Thanks Esteban, I will follow your advice. These things are considered pretty suburban in the Uk but actually highly regarded in S Africa, such that in a recent challenge by one of the 4x4 magazines it beat all other more serious machinery in a tight and undulating course. Of course ultimately,it has it's limitations.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
