In October/November it will be that time of year when our car comes out of duty free storage for the desert season. As this may be our last year in Cairo before heading further away, one option is to sell to someone heading South, hence....

I am uncertain of the complications of transferring from my carnet to a new carnet, but I hope it could be done simply at the Egyptian Touring Club which is the RAC equivalent here or at the duty free compound at the airport. Worst case scenario would be transferring on the exit/entry to Egypt. (OK I’m an optimist).
I bought the car unseen 7 years ago, and it worked out for me, so if anyone else is brave enough to take a chance on trust, please get in touch.
I’m on kindle only email for the next week, so please be patient awaiting replies. (I did mention that I’m an optimist)
Thanks for reading, if you made it this far through my somewhat garbled post. Cairo accommodation and desert trips included
James

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
