BFG AT 235/85 16 For Sale
Hi All,
I have one new BFG AT 235/85 16 for sale
It's the second spare from my last desert trip.
It's a brand new tyre bought in Jan 2010, it was mounted to a rim and carted around on my roof. It has never been driven on at all.
The pics are here Tyre Sale - a set on Flickr
As you can see, I've had it removed from the rim (there's barely a mark to show it was ever fitted), but if a 16x7 steel rim for a 6 stud Toyota (a la HJ60) is any use to you, I wouldn't want much for it at all.
I'm near Hexham, Northumberland. Obviously collection would be prefered, but I should be able to get it sent via Interlink. I can check it out if need be and let you know.
Alternatively, I'll be in Snowdonia from 26/04 to 02/05 and near Portsmouth sometime later in May.
Do I hear £100??
Happy travels
Sam

hope this helps someone

Hi Sam,
Shifting your tyres did you decide to change size ?
I'll offer you £75 for it, and pay the postage to West Sussex if you dont mind !
I'm trying to make up a set of 6 BFG with decent tread...
Cheers
Matt

Hi,
Thanks a lot Rich, that's far better than I'd manage using the work Interlink account (I'd still end up paying!), which was my initial thoughts if it comes to shipping it.
Thanks for the offer Matt.
I've decided to stick with the same size in the end, tempting as the 255's were, I really don't want to screw with the gearing. I just need something more mud bassed for the next trip.
This is a bit more than 'decent tread' though. By any measure I'd use, this is a new tyre. About £140 these days, unless someone knows somewhere I don't.
For £75, I think I'd be better taking my chances on Fleabay.
Sam

Hi Matt,
Where abouts are you? I've got Bognor in my head for some reason?
If it makes any difference to your offer, i could deliver it to the Chichester area for free on the 13th, 14th or 15th May.
All the best
Sam
