mmmm, it's a maybe !
hi graham
it certainly looks a nice piece of kit and very constructed.
however, it may be too heavy for my 40-10.
any idea what the unit, empty of liquids or gas bottles actually weighs ?
It would be a shame to strip it just for the parts if somebody can make use of it but i think for me that is the most likely.
It would go straight onto my 40-10 but it puts a lot of weight at the very backend, which of course is never a good thing.
do you have the gas bottles for it aswell ?
why did you take it off yours ?
Let's see how the auction runs . . . . and maybe we can work something out if it doesn't sell.
phil.

???????
Hello Phil again, I had this quandary back in 2003 when I had it built then an expert in this field reminded me that my Iveco was a lorry not a campervan......!!!! I’m not sure of it’s correct weight, can find out maybe an estimate.? The only concern is building the sub frame to accept it and how this is constructed to the lorry chassis. I can email you some snapshots of how it looked on my vehicle if you like, send me your email ok.
Yes I still have the gas bottles but I will need one of them so you could have three ok. I have quite a few people sending me enquiries from ebay but I just hope they can appreciate how much this would cost to make and fit out today, your looking at £2500.00 but thats not what I’m asking of course..!!
I took it off the vehicle when I made a decision earlier this year to get rid of the thing, personnel circumstances have changed etc etc, I was going to re-use it on something entirely different but since breaking my leg have decided to flog it.
Kind regards Graham

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
