I will consider a serious offer
Good question. I will consider a serious offer.
There's no comparable, quite rare to find a 300Tdi with this low Kms and most of the advantages of the newer versions till '06. It was produced in 2006 for the "Rest of the World", bought new in Egypt when I was based there. Other HUBB members know it from my days there. Went through the scrupulous Swiss vehicle homologation service (SAN) like a letter in the mail.
I had it insured for 30'000 USD when shipping from Egypt to Switzerland a year ago to find out upon arrival from my insurer here that it's worth 41'000 CHF (Generali). But this is Switzerland, everything is pricey.
I'm not Swiss, and I don't expect to sell it here either, so a serious offer in between will be as seriously considered. While being a fantastic vehicle, it's just not ideal around here.
Cheers!

Bump - 28'000 USD
I drove the Defender here in Switzerland occasionally, it's just not the vehicle suiting our needs now, and the big trip won't happen anytime soon. Sadly we have to change it for a smaller car..
It now has 32'000 km on the clock, looks and feels like new.
Will let go for 28'000 USD.

I never heard back from the "interested" individuals, so kept driving the Defender to work every now and then.
Vehicle now has 45'000 km, still love it, but still for sale should a true overland be interested. Went for maintenance a few months ago, had the timing belt replaced preventively and replaced the tensioner as it showed some weakness according to Atelier Hidber here in Switzerland.
So bump again for HUBBers until I really want to trade it for a 2 seaters convertible roadster and post an add in the local classified.

It's not happening, so I'm kitting it out and will be keeping the Defender.
