FS: 1995 Nissan Safari (Patrol) Turbo diesel Kingsroad edition
I am parting ways with my wonderful Safari.

Located in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

This truck needs absolutely nothing. It pulls hard with the factory turbo and gets good fuel economy (12L/100km)

Price: $14,800 CDN

1995 Nissan Safari (Patrol) LWB higroof Kingsroad (fully loaded model)
156,000 km's
TD42T (factory turbo charged inline 6cyl 4.2L engine)
Automatic transmission
Custom from factory : (RARE) White exterior / cloth interior / camping kit.

12V electrical system with 24V starting system (dual batteries)

Factory options:
Large retractable moonroof
Rear differential locker

Additional modifications/upgrades:

Mechanical:

Nissan genuine manual front hubs
2.5" OME suspension lift with Procomp 9000 series shocks
285/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires on 16x8 Rockcrawler wheels (tires have 8k on them - standard rotations)

*Dual tank system with 6port valve/switces, heated Vegmax2 filter and walbro HP fuel pump.

*Currently setup to run WVO/veg oil and/or dual tank long range diesel setup.

Electronics:

Icom 2300H VHF radio w/ 2m antenna install
JVC usb/ipod stereo
4/7 pin wiring harness for trailer/towing
Toggle switches for aux pump, tank, future lighting and aux battery.

Maintenance:

Oil changes every 4k @ 15W40 Rotella
Injector re&re service at 153,000km
2 new batteries
Auto transmission flush with Valvoline DEX/MERC ATF
Fuel filter changes (including heated VegMax2)
Front wheel bearings, rotors, pads, rebuilt calipers
Rear rotors, pads, rebuilt calipers
New water pump, thermostat, recored radiator, cooling system flush

Aesthetics:
Interior rear camping kit/drawer system
Also have the 3rd rear seat

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
