Land Rover Defender 110 300Tdi - IDEAL FOR OVERLAND, CROSS-AFRICA TRIP
  • 1996 Kenyan registered
  • Manual gearbox
  • Turbo diesel
  • Already in Nairobi
  • COMESA and CARNET valid to Feb 2011 included
  • Company owned from new to 2010, we are only the second owners
  • Engine fully reconditioned by Roverland in Cape Town only 8,000 miles ago (recon'd at 223,000miles)
  • Converted from station wagon to include windows and rear seats (fold forward for extra space and recline fully back)
  • Various tools and camping equipment included
  • 12,000 USD

It's arrived in Cape Town!
She's returned from Cape Town!

Just to re-iterate the key points:
• 1996 Defender 110, 2.5l turbo-diesel, manual, completely overhauled by Roverland in Cape Town
• 300 series TDi – strong, robust and does more than 11km/litre - fully recon'd in Cape Town and good for a full service life
• Carnet and COMESA insurance included, valid to Feb 2011
• Kenyan registered, ideal for overland trip to Nairobi, inc contacts to sell on to
• Loads of camping gear including:
- 4 person tent (two compartments and central area)
- Stove, coolbox, pots, lantern, plates, cutlery, etc, etc
- Mozzy net & various SIM cards
• Various tools and spares, jack, spare wheel, jerry can, fire extinguisher etc
• Rear reclining, folding and stowing seats. 3 front seats!

There's a full 20 pages of carnet left. Get in touch if you fancy the adventure of a lifetime!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
