HISTORY OF THE CAR
We purchased the car in the Netherlands in December 2012 from an official dealer. The former owners used the car for travel in Spain and Portugal. The dealer converted the car into a comfortable sleeper and made it overland-ready. We bought a new fridge and all camping gear and tools are newly bought and only used during our half-year trip.
The car was approved in The Netherlands by an official garage just before we left.
Since the start of our journey, in May 2013, we came across several issues (fixed in reliable garages in South Africa) such as replacement of broken thermostat, replacement of front differential, reconditioning of cylinder injectors, fixing of leaking radiator, replacement of brake cables, and hand brake blocks, changing of oil filter, air filter, fuel filter. All this and the fuel consumption is kept in a detailed logbook.
PRICE, HANDOVER
We will end our trip somewhere in November. Due to the current situation in Egypt we are not planning to travel any further than East Africa.
Therefore the car is for sale in Kampala/Uganda, Nairobi/Kenia or in Dar es Salaam/Tanzania from early November 2013.

The price for car, equipment and all the extra’s as described here is
