for sale in South Arfica - Mitsubishi Colt 4x4, fully kitted with camper/canopy





Asking price: R 190,000 / USD 11,500

Mitsubishi Colt Club Cab 2.8TDi 4x4, 220000 km, well serviced and cared for, clean white paint and grey interior, Blinkgat Products camper/canopy, fully kitted with many vehicle and overlanding extras.

The vehicle is presently in Tanzania and will be back in South Africa by mid-February. I wish to sell it in Cape Town by the end of February, but delivery to another location in SA can be negotiated. The vehicle can also be inspected or purchased anywhere in SA during my trip on the coast.

Vehicle extras:

150L Long range fuel tank, speedocruise, Madman EGT monitor, USB Radio, aluminum wheels, 2 spare wheels, upgraded 8 blade Heavy duty rear leaf springs, new rear shocks and Firestone ATX tires (replaced at 211000 km), removable storage boxes and individual seats and seat belts for club cab rear seat, high lift jack attachment points, original Tail Gate in storage.

Blinkgat Products camper/canopy:

comfortable foam mattress, side awning, lead crystal battery and deep cycle battery with voltage monitor, 2x80W solar panels on roof and controller/monitor, 40L water tank and faucet, ample storage space below bed, ample space for fridge and other items, storage with external access for extra batteries and tools/recovery gear, many bag pockets for food and other items, 2 exterior panels for cookware and toiletries with LED strips, 2 side windows for access to main canopy area, removable table.

Overlanding gear:

60L Arctix fridge/freezer like new, Alva double burner stove with Camp Cover bag, 5kg and 3kg Cadac gas bottles, 2 Campmaster Classic 300 deluxe chairs.

Full kitchenware (cutlery, bowls, plates, plastic spoons, pots & pans, plastic containers, mugs, kettle, thermos, etc.), 20L water jerry can, plastic storage boxes, sheets and towels, pillows, dish washing rack, Braai kit, 12V shower pump, 10L cooler box, buckets for laundry.

2 X 300 W Trailboss inverters (one never used), portable heater/fan, solar lamp, 12V fluorescent lamp, electric plugs and adapters, battery charger.

3 fire extinguishers, safety triangles and jackets, brand new seed net, recovery strap and towing strap, high lift jack with baseplate and lift mate, spade, corkscrew sand pegs for awning, rubber mallet, Back on Track sand tracks, garden hose for filling water tank, axe, Tire Moni tyre pressure monitor, mosquito net, Tracks4Africa Botswana and Mozambique/Malawi maps, Racor portable Diesel funnel filter, 56 L/min air compressor, 3 ton jack, toolbox with many essential tools (screwdriver set, pliers, multimeter, spanner set, puncture kit, etc.), many spare parts.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB.
