SALE:Toyota Land Cruiser HZJ76 Customised 4X4 Expedition Vehicle With Factory Lockers

2007 Toyota Land Cruiser HZJ76 4.2L 6cyl LXspec 5seater with factory diff lockers front and rear.
RHD with full UK registration (very rare, possibly unique in the UK) MoT and Tax until May 2018.

I got this vehicle in 2010 with 30k miles on the clock and I have run it on the best fluids ever since.
Notably Castrol Edge 5W40 in the engine and Castrol Syntrax 75W90 in both diffs and both boxes.
Besides the secondary Racor fuel pre-filter, I have only ever used Toyota original fuel and oil filters.
I always used a K&N air filter on motorways and an original Toyota paper air filter for off-roading.

Here are the modifications I can remember offhand, there are probably more, which I will add later:
South African anti-hijacking security system (though without the infamous flame-throwers, sadly),
Original clutch replaced with upgraded heavy duty rally clutch (from All American Imports NL),
Factory manifold is replaced with 6 branch Genie header and base pipe (imported from Australia),
Original exhaust replaced with stainless steel big bore freeflow side pipe (from Tom's in Germany),
Factory snorkel plus modified unrestricted air intake pipe (from FZJ80) between air box and engine,
Suspension components upgraded with heavy duty replacements from TJM and OME front & rear,
This raised the suspension a few inches hence castor correction bushes installed in the radius arms,
Rear suspension strengthened with Firestone airbags specifically located between chassis and axles,
Factory tow bar is raised into rear steel bumper for improved departure angle and ground clearance,
Wheels are original unbreakable Toyota alloys with new 33" (255/85/16) BF Goodrich KM2 muds,
ARB bullbar front protection with Goodwinch 12,000lb TDS large drum and new 30m plasma rope,
Factory fuel tank replaced with 150L long range tank fabricated by African Outback (when it was),
The rear axle has been fitted with very expensive German wheel spacers to track with the front end,
There is a Viair on-board air inflation system comprising of built in compressor and pressure tank,
Factory headlight bulbs replaced with high intensity IPF bulbs in addition to KC hi-lite spot lights,
1000W inverter from Durite under driver seat, 800W amplifier for sound system under passenger,
Professional Dinitrol application (no, not by Mr 'Tache!) inside and outside chassis and body panels,
Custom made 85L 10mm thick HDPE water tank located under chassis in purpose built steel frame,
Auxiliary electrics controlled by IBS split charge battery management system, 3 Odyssey batteries,
Pathetic factory horn has been replaced with IPF rally horns after a narrow escape with an EU lorry,
Very good quality high powered Sirio antenna with an increased-power Lafayette Trucker CB radio,
The roof-tent is a 2.4m wide genuine heavy duty canvas model which comes with the annexe room,
The roof-tent is mounted on a pair of Hannibal roof bars and the rear roof-rack is also by Hannibal,
In the back are 2 Engel MT35 fridge-freezers mounted on an African Outback roller drawer system,
One side of the drawer system has been converted for cooking and has a 3 burner cast iron cooker,
Other kitchen equipment includes a drop down table and full cutlery and utensils in a canvas holder,
The 2 propane gas bottles are mounted on a custom frame consisting of a modified ladder and racks,
The heavy duty canvas awning mounted at the rear, also opening to the rear measures 3.0m x 2.7m,
The canvas storage bag on the roof contains a stainless BBQ, 6ft folding table and 2 camping chairs.

I also have a lot of HZJ spares and related equipment in my garage which I will include in this sale.
As with the HZJ75 I sold recently - every item of equipment is guaranteed to be of the best quality.

This vehicle wants for nothing - you could literally fill the tank, jump in and head for Cape Town...

Price - £45,000
Mileage - 171,875
Tax & MoT - May 2018

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
