Unimog camper for sale in South America - SOLD

Hi,
< Truck is sold. Thanks for looking!>

We are thinking of selling our Unimog truck in 2014. We are currently traveling around South America, and on our way north towards Columbia. After that, the truck will be for sale.

The full story and photos of the truck are available on our blog, Moglander's Travels - The travels of Moglander, and all that sail in her. Overlanding in a Unimog

I am mentioning this early, in case someone is starting to plan a South America trip. You could arrive to the truck, bring just your clothes, and have everything you need already here.

We are looking for €33,000 for it, and it includes a nice set of spares (Starter motor, alternators (12v and 24v - we run both), brake pads etc.

Merv,

Short update, We are still on route to Columbia, and the truck will be for sale in or around May 2014. We can be a little flexible with that, or could even drive back south if someone wanted to start elsewhere.

Camper swap?

Hi

We have a camper for sale in the UK as we want to do South America next, but don't want to ship ours. It has no heating and is more suitable for warmer places. Just wondered if you would be interested in a swap with whatever cash adjustment was needed?

Just a thought!

Hi Graham,

That is a nice looking Toyota you have! It would be really sweet for a warm climate.

but, We are not looking for anything for our next trip as we need a few years with our noses to the grindstone to refill the piggy bank. So, for that reason a swap probably does not suit us.

Cheers,
Merv.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
